Footblocks are a vital part of the deck equipment as they must be able to take very high loads. In fact, the loads imposed on footblocks are among the highest that a running rigging can generate. Due to the construction and solid materials of Rutgerson footblocks, the load to size ratio is among the best on the market.

Spherical plain bearings that are typical for Rutgerson blocks outperform ball-bearings constantly and this is also true for our footblocks.Due to the plain bearing construction, all our blocks are also maintenance free. Another important advantage is the fact that they are stackable and reversible in order to maximise efficiency.

The footblock assortment is divided into two ranges, anodised aluminium sides and high-tech composite sides, in 4 sizes: 40, 60, 80 and 100mm sheave diameters.
